Hot Spots In Dogs Vet Hospital South Philadelphia

Hot Spots are itchy, red, moist lesions under the skin that result from licking or scratching. Hot spots can be a singular area which can be very large in size or there can be several at the same time in different areas of the body. Fortunately, hot spots look a lot worse than they are and most will heal quite well with a comprehensive treatment plan as outlined above. During your visit, a member of our World of Animals’ Veterinary Hospital will also discuss the underlying causes of hot spots and attempt to identify the inciting cause.

Heart Disease In Pets Vet Hospital South Philadelphia

There are many causes of Congestive Heart Failure but it’s important to think of this more as a “state of being” than the disease which causes it. Pets can go in and out of congestive heart failure many times as medications are initiated and dosages are changed, or as a disease state progresses. There is always an underlying disease state which causes this. The most common cause of heart failure is valvular disease, or an age-related defect in the valves which separate the chambers of the heart.
